Tesla steering wheel cover installation in Los Angeles
A worn or peeling surface can change how your wheel looks and feels. Edgar installs a fitted cover by hand, stitching it over the existing wheel on suitable vehicles. This is different from recoloring a surface or replacing the entire steering wheel.
Wheel shapes and designs vary, even within Model 3 and Model Y. We check your photos and model year first, then confirm the appropriate cover, finish, price and appointment availability.

Will a cover fit my Model 3 or Model Y?
Not every year or wheel shape uses the same cover. Send your model year and clear full wheel photos so we can confirm your specific fit. Do not assume compatibility for a different wheel design or a yoke.
How much does installation cost?
Price depends on the compatible cover, the wheel’s condition and whether you need mobile service. Send photos and your location for a quote. We confirm the price and any travel charge before booking.
Do you remove the old covering or the steering wheel?
This service is a hand stitched cover installed over the existing covering, with the wheel left in the vehicle on suitable installations. It is not a strip and rewrap service or a replacement wheel. If your wheel needs a different approach, we’ll discuss that before booking.
How long will it take?
Installation typically takes 1 to 2 hours after compatibility is confirmed. The condition of the wheel and the chosen cover can affect timing; cover availability is confirmed before the appointment.
What if my steering wheel is heated?
Tell Edgar that your wheel is heated and send its photos when requesting a quote. Heating compatibility must be checked for your specific wheel and cover; unchanged heating performance is not promised for every vehicle.
Is this an original Tesla replacement part?
No. This is an independently provided cover installation service, not an original replacement wheel or a Tesla authorized service. LA Leather Fix is not affiliated with Tesla.
Can you repair the horn, airbag or steering controls?
No. This service covers the wheel’s surface only. Electrical, airbag, horn or steering system concerns should be inspected by a qualified automotive technician.
Can dealers or Tesla specialists request this service?
Yes, send the model year, photos and location of each vehicle to discuss suitability and scheduling. Fit and pricing are confirmed individually.
